The business concept of Georex consists in assisting the oil and gas industry in the exploration, development and production of oil and gas reserves. The company provides its Geosciences expertise in all other industries calling upon geosciences competencies and pursues the development of these new business areas as mining, hydrogeology and geotechnics. The group is active international in 20 countries and has offices in France, United Kingdom and Tunisia.

GEOREX is focusing on the establishment of business teams, in accordance with industry requirements. The company manages projects and workflows for turnkey operations, and oversees the execution and QC phases.

GEOREX has offices in France (Paris and Pau), United Kingdom (London) and Tunisia (Tunis). In France and Tunisia, the offices host data transcription facilities and storage centres, as well as scanning & digitising operations for well-logs, maps and seismic sections. All operation centres comply with industry standards for security, fire detection & suppression and intruder alarm systems.

As of December 2006 the Group employs around 100 geologists, geophysicists, reservoir engineers, data base and GIS experts. A large part of this human force works international. The company offers constantly positions in geology, geophysics, reservoir and computer sciences applied in geosciences.
