Yannis Bassias, born in 1954, President and Managing Director, Georex Group
Joined GEOREX in 1991 and worked as Operations Manager in Paris on marketing and sales of the exploration services until 1995. He was appointed General Manager in 1996 and President in 1997. From 1997 to 2001 he directed the GEOREX evaluation team and participated in the development of oil and gas assets in the United States (Texas, New Mexico) and Colombia. From 2002 to present he oriented the company on the development of geoscience activities applied in subsurface studies, data management and transfer of knowledge. Before joining the petroleum industry he had an academic career with main research focus on the sedimentary basins and ridges of the Indian Ocean.
Laurent Baillard, born in 1972, Administrative and Financial Manager, Georex Group
Joined GEOREX in 1994 and assisted in the accounting department until 1999 when he was appointed Administrative and Financial Mgr of the group. Since 2004 he is Director of the Board of Georex and in 2005 was appointed Executive Director of Georex UK Ltd.
Dalian Lembang, born in 1963, Business Development and Training Advisor, Geo-Form SAS
Joined GEOREX in 2000 to market data management services. Since 2003 he is involved in the development and marketing of training activities worldwide. GEOREX's training portfolio is developed today under GEO-FORM subsidiary. Dalian holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston and spent four years with Western Geophysical in seismic acquisition in West Africa and in South America and eight years with CGG in France in seismic processing before joining GEOREX.
Roselyne Friedenberg, born in 1963, Personnel Career Manager, Geo-Form SAS
Roselyne joined GEOREX, through its subsidiary GEO-FORM, in September 2008 to assure the management of Personnel Career and Recruitment of the group. She graduated in Sedimentology from the University of Lyon-1 in 1987 and began her career with Elf on sequence stratigraphy and dipmeter correlations on clastic settings. Roselyne holds a PhD in sedimentology from the University of Strasbourg (1994). She worked for GDF, ANDRA and IFP projects on sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy and reservoir modelling in the Paris Basin, and south Argentina basin. Since 2000 she occupied the positions of marketing and sales and later of management for Ajilon Engineering oil and gas services.
Daniel Chevrotin, born in 1949, Consultancy Adviser, Georex Assistance Technique SAS
Daniel joined GEOREX in April 2008 to assist in the development of the site supervision assistance of the group worldwide. He has 38 years experience in the oil and gas industry in geology, drilling and production activities. He started his career in 1970 with Geoservices as maintenance engineer for North Sea operations. From 1972 until 1995 he was assigned in Nigeria, Aberdeen, France and Algeria and taken Technical, District, Logistics, and Quality Control Management positions. Since 1996, occupied head office positions in France and developed consultancy services.
Thomas Gueant, born in 1977, Geoscience Studies Mgr, Georex Assistance Technique SAS
He joined Georex in 2002, where he specialized in basin modeling and georeferencing techniques. After obtaining his Master Degree in Sedimentology from the University of Lille, France, he spent two years with Elf studying the biodegradation process and the petroleum evaluation of deep offshore prospective areas. Since 2005 Thomas is managing the geology, geophysics and reservoir studies sector, and since 2008 the entire technical part of the Georex Assitance Technique SAS activities.
Ludovic Presse, born in 1973, Site Operations Mgr, Georex Assistance Technique SAS
Ludovic holds a diploma of Engineer in Geology of the Geological Institute Albert de Lapparent obtained in 1998. After a first experience in the field of geotechnics and environment on drilling for radioactive waste, Ludovic worked in West Africa as muddloger, data engineer and well site geologist. He joined Georex in August 2002. Since 2006, he is managing the site operations sector of the group.
Delphine Bruyère, born in 1977, Laboratory and Physical Measures Mgr, Georex Assistance Technique SAS
Studied the diagenetic processes of clastic reserves with TOTAL before focusing onto the concrete and nuclear power industries for her PhD. She joined Georex Assistance Technique to develop the services of laboratory geological analyses and manages since 2006 the physical measurement, sampling and analysis laboratory for oil and gas drilling sites, concrete industry and mines. Since 2008 she assures integrated sales for Subsurface activities.
Lydérick De Wever, born in 1976, Environmental studies Mgr, Georex Assistance Technique SAS
Joined GEOREX in 2006, to develop the environmental activity. He is Geology engineer and obtained a Master Degree in Urbanism in 2004. He worked in natural reserves in France and joined a CNRS program on European water management in relation with mining subsidence in France and flooding consequences in Belgium and the Nederlands. He assists the public sector on environmental studies, water management, urbanism / city-development projects and geotechnical audits.
Philippe Mouzy, born in 1958, Document and Indexation Manager, Geonumeric SAS
Graduate in Social Psychology in 1982, Philippe carried out the main part of its career in the sector of the software services. Between 1986 and 1994, he occupied the positions of Secretary General and Financial Director of SOFITEXT SA. He joined SQL TECH in 1995 as Consultant-Manager in Organization and directed audit missions for Chronopost, and quality planning of the company in project management and human resources. From 2001 to 2005, he managed the human resources of TECHNOW SA and supervised the commercial activity. Philippe joined GEOREX, in May 2006. Since 2008 he is managing the Document and Indexation activities of Geonumeric in Paris.
Lamine Amraoui, born in 1949, Managing Director, Georex Services Tunisia SARL, Tunisia
Graduated in 1979 as a petroleum engineer from French Petroleum Institute (IFP). He started his career with ETAP, the national oil company of Tunisia in the drilling and production department, and became in 1989, manager of the department, responsible for ETAP’s interests in all joint ventures with international companies operating in Tunisia. In 1991 he joined BG-group in Tunisia, to help with the development of the major development of the Miskar gas field. Lamine was managing all relations with the Tunisian Government and organisations involved in the project. In 2005, he started a carreer as a consultant in the energy sector . In october, he was appointed as head of “Geonumeric sarl” a tunisian subsidiary of the Georex group. Lamine is also holding a diploma in oil and gas management from the college of petroleum studies in Oxford since 1990.
Robert Pettit, Managing Director, Georex UK Ltd
Joined GEOREX in 2005, to head up an international, London based service company. Graduating in 1974 with a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of London, Robert joined GSI as a seismic processing geophysicist. He has spent much of his career working, both in senior management positions and as a consultant, in the E&P services sector. Following periods of employment with Western Geophysical, Schlumberger and Fugro Robertson, he was a founding member of SeiScan Technology Ltd (later SeiScan GeoData) in 1991, offering data conditioning and management services to the industry – with specific emphasis on the digital reconstruction and reprocessing of legacy seismic datasets. SeiScan was acquired by Robertson Research International in 2003, and Robert remained with the company for a further 2 years.
