Paris, France, February 1, 2010 . . . At a meeting on December 8, 2009 the Board of Directors of Georex approved in principle the separation of Poros SAS and its exploration activities from those of Georex SA and requested management to seek an appropriate mechanism to achieve this in order to facilitate a rapid and efficient development of Poros, structured to be technically and financially independent from Georex and its group services. The Board will propose to the shareholders such an arrangement at the Annual General Meeting in 2010.
